BIO | ARTIST STATEMENT:
Helle Cook is a Danish-Australian artist based in Meanjin-Brisbane. Cook's art practice explores the sensory experience of light, place and belonging in expanded painting. Cook holds a Bachelor of Fine Art (Honours) from Queensland College of Art (QCA) and has had solo- and group exhibitions in Queensland, Victoria and Denmark. She has undertaken artist residencies in Australia, Italy and Denmark.
